Governing Board Committees
The Roundwood Park Academy Trust shall have the following governors:
- 6 Parent Governors
- Up to 3 Staff Governors
- Up to 8 Community Governors
The governors are appointed for a four year term. The Chair and Vice Chair are appointed at the beginning of each academic year. The Full Governing Board meets twice a term as do the Committees.
The remit of the Resources Committee is to keep under review the management of the resources of the school (finances, personnel and premises), to ensure that these resources are effectively deployed and to advise the governing board on all related matters.
Standards and Curriculum
The remit of the Standards and Curriculum Committee is to consider all matters relating to student learning and achievement and the effectiveness of the curriculum of the school.
Students, Families and Community
The remit of the Students, Families & Community Committee is to review all matters relating to the welfare of the students of the school, their families and the wider community.
